To recognize2015-Career-Month-Poster2 (1) Manitoba Career and Workforce Development Month 2015, Manitoba Start partnered with 80 businesses, regulatory bodies and other organizations–including successful Manitoba Start alumni–to hold a series of events that provided newcomers with industry-specific information and networking opportunities.

From October 28 to December 3, 2015, over 350 newcomers benefitted from firsthand insights on industry trends, career pathways, the competencies employers look for in new hires
and how to succeed in the workplace.

Each session comprised three events:

Industry Insights: A moderated question and answer period; newcomers gain industry-specific information from business leaders.
Informational Interviews: Newcomers interview business leaders about their specific workplace.
Share Success: Manitoba Start alumni share their career development journey, followed by networking.
